Spectral analysis with the FFT
We analyse a signal using the FFT, to estimate the frequencies and amplitudes of its sinusoidal components.
Check the effects of:
- zero-padding, yielding a finer sampling of the DTFT of the signal,
- the length of the window, allowing a better spectral resolution,
- the window on the level of the sidelobes.
With the appropriate parameters, three sinusoids are detected.
