Spectral analysis with the FFT

We analyse a signal using the FFT, to estimate the frequencies and amplitudes of its sinusoidal components.

Check the effects of:

• zero-padding, yielding a finer sampling of the DTFT of the signal,
• the length of the window, allowing a better spectral resolution,
• the window on the level of the sidelobes.
